A Christian teacher has been permanently banned from teaching by the UK’s Teaching Regulation Agency (TRA) for so-called ‘misgendering’ a student.
Joshua Sutcliffe, who taught Mathematics at Oxford’s Cherwell School, had previously been suspended and then dismissed from his duties in 2017 for calling a girl a girl. This week a TRA ‘professional conduct panel’ chose to permanently ban him from teaching.
Madness.
The taxpayer-funded TRA also bullied Mr Sutcliffe for comments he has made on subjects such as marriage, masculinity and Islam. According to the UK’s Department for Education, which oversees the TRA, 2 + 2 equals 5. Learn and repeat.
Biological truth and other truths must be taught to children, rather than banned, mocked and replaced with perverse ideology. Schools harming children by so-called ‘transitioning’ them must be rebuked, not celebrated.
Sign this petition to the Education Secretary demanding that Joshua Sutcliffe is unbanned from teaching and readmitted to the teaching profession.

Petition: Unban Joshua Sutcliffe
Dear Mrs Keegan,
The recent decision of the Teaching Regulation Agency to permanently ban Mr Joshua Sutcliffe from teaching for ‘misgendering’ a student is outrageous.
Instead of upholding the biological truth that a boy is a boy and a girl is a girl, the TRA, overseen by your department, is sending out the message that truth and reality are irrelevant to British education and are punishable by exile.
Mr Sutcliffe’s views must not only be tolerated but promoted by your department, as truth and reality form the basis of any good education.
As taxpaying citizens with children and friends in taxpayer-funded schools, we respectfully insist that you unban Mr Sutcliffe from teaching and restore him to his rightful place as a teacher in good standing.
Please go further and ensure this does not happen again to a British teacher, by forming a legal and cultural environment within the Department for Education that upholds truth rather than falsehood, and guards against the moral corruption of children.
