Ulster: Say 'NO' to Children's Cuts Before This Thursday's Election!
Ulster says 'No' to Westminster's budget cuts which will so severely affect those living with mental health issues, as well as those families just trying to make ends meet in Northern Ireland!
Because the cuts target such services as the School Holiday Food Grant, Happy Healthy Minds and the Extended Schools programme, they will disproportionately affect Ulster's young people and already-disadvantaged families.
Before the end of election day on Thursday, please SIGN and SHARE this petition which will go to both the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, Chris Heaton, and all of Ulster's political leaders, asking them to voice their support for a reversal to these devastating cuts.
Hundreds of organisations and businesses have already voiced their opposition to these devastating cuts, and human rights organisations have criticised these cuts as even threatening the survival of those who can least afford to lose vital support. (Read more below)
Indeed, when one considers the imposition of abortion and homosexual "marriage" on Northern Ireland by Westminster, these budget cuts appear as yet another attack on Ulster's family unit.
So, let's raise our voices on behalf of young people living with mental health issues and those disadvantaged families who absolutely need the support offered by such programmes as the Food Grant.
And, just now, let's use the election to magnify our voices. Let's also ask our political leaders to use the election to magnify their voices on this vital issue for youth and for families in Ulster.
Thank you for SIGNING and SHARING, today!
