Sandra Bullock: Don't Star in Pro-Abortion Movie
Sandra Bullock captivated audiences with her strong portrayal of Christian compassion and love in The Blind Side. Now, she is planning to star in a movie that would glorify abortion and disrespect the sanctity of life.
The Blind Side tells the story of a Mississippi mother who takes in a homeless African-American boy who later becomes a successful NFL player. Bullock’s performance was universally praised, and it won her an Academy Award. In her acceptance speech, she thanked “moms that take care of their babies and the children no matter where they come from.” Bullock has also been an outspoken proponent of adoption, even adopting a baby boy herself.
This is why we were shocked to hear that Bullock was interested in playing Democratic state senator Wendy Davis. Davis is most famous for her 13-hour filibuster against a pro-life bill that would have protected 20-week-old preborn children. The script that Bullock is considering is called Let Her Speak. According to Deadline, the movie “covers that historic day and how a onetime teen mom who became a Harvard-trained lawyer showed the courage to change her own life, along with the lives of American women.”
Hollywood’s desire to capitalize on Wendy Davis’s efforts against the unborn is disgusting and inappropriate. In reality, Americans prefer pro-life movies over pro-abortion movies, and they always have! The good news is that Let Her Speak is still in the development stage. The producers are still looking for a director and a distributor, and if enough people speak up, Sandra Bullock may decide to pull out of the movie.
