Oregon’s Physician-Assisted Suicide Law Puts the Disabled at Risk

Ever since the 1990s when Oregon passed its Death with Dignity Act, I’ve been working to de-grease its slippery slope. Under the law, physicians may give lethal drugs to patients with terminal illnesses who want to end their lives. The law’s proponents have insisted it could only be offered to those who had 6 months or less to live and was a safety valve when nothing else could be done to alleviate suffering. But not so anymore.

Tell the University of Iowa: Don’t oust Christian group for holding Christian views

Many universities make a point to boast about how diverse their student bodies are. Schools will claim that they are made up of a diverse group of individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, interests, and career tracks. However, at an increasing number of universities, that “commitment” to diversity doesn’t extend to those who hold any beliefs that are unpopular in the current cultural climate.

UMass Amherst: Don't Deny Students Free Speech!

The 30,000 students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst are subject to some of the worst restrictions on free speech at university-level in the United States.

University officials have mandated restrictive policies which, among other things, only allow students to hold speeches or rallies between the hours of 12noon and 1pm, when class is in session. And, also, any such speeches or rallies must be held in a type of "safe space-speech zone", which has been designated for the purpose.

Oklahoma teachers’ union is boycotting Christian student teachers!

When will discrimination against Christians end? It seems that each day that passes, we hear more stories about overt discrimination against Christians merely because they express their faith or act on their beliefs. Wedding photographers are not allowed to decline “same-sex weddings,” Christian student clubs are not allowed to require a statement of faith for their leaders, and Christian pharmacists are forced to offer contraceptives and abortion drugs they disagree with.

University of Minnesota: Offer no stage to advocates of eugenic abortion

University of Minnesota professor David M. Perry wrote recently that: “it’s time to affirmatively support the right to eugenic abortion, even as we fight the need for it. “

“If individuals want to terminate an otherwise wanted pregnancy due to a prenatal diagnosis, I support their decision.”

Join Christian leaders in affirming that we are created male and female

There is immense pressure on Christians to conform to the liberal sexual ethic of our society and celebrate gay marriage and transgenderism. During the summer, gay pride parades and celebrations shut down traffic in nearly all major cities and LGBTQ rhetoric and imagery dominated the advertising campaigns of major corporations. With so much pressure, it can begin to feel extremely oppressive. How is a Christian supposed to remain faithful to God’s word under so much pressure?

Get the facts straight: Abortion is murder

There has been a lot of talk by the Left lately about the danger of “Fake News.” Major Media outlets decry alternative news outlets as untrustworthy and demand that the general public trust them, and them alone. (However, it’s actually the mainstream media that constantly publishes blatantly biased, partisan, and misleading “news articles” with the obvious intention of swaying public opinion to the left.)

Ask the Lab: Research ways to improve the lives of people with Autism

Autism is a serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact. And unfortunately, it is on the rise in the United states. To a family, a child’s autism diagnosis can be devastating. However, no matter how devastating or difficult a disability might be, the child who has autism is a valuable person created in the image of God with infinite worth.

Tell lawmakers to say no to abortions on California college campuses!

During the last year, there has been a lot of talk on college campuses about creating “safe spaces.” The people behind these “safe spaces” are generally just trying to silence any viewpoint that isn’t radically liberal. But the concept is a good one. College campuses should be “safe spaces.” They should be places without bullying, violence or hatred.

However, some lawmakers in California want to make an extreme form of violence commonplace on college campuses: abortion.
