Remove Wendy Davis as ‘Texan of the Year’ Finalist

Help petition the Dallas Morning News to remove the name of Wendy Davis as a finalist for the 2013 Texan of the Year.

The views of Wendy Davis do not represent Texans. She only lives there.

Wendy Davis received this nomination from the liberal media for two reasons:

1.)She is a friend of Planned Parenthood and advocate of the abortion industry. She elevated herself to fame when serving as State Senator; she filibustered a vote in the State Senate that would preserve life.

2.)She is running as the endorsed Democratic Party Candidate for Governor. This is simply a way for the Dallas Morning News to advertise the candidacy of Wendy Davis.

Texas is known for being an unbreakable pillar of American society. When I think of Texas, I think of: extremely hard working, blue-collar folks; leaders in cattle ranching and farming; defenders of our Constitution; and most importantly, people of great faith.

Not once, when I think of Texas, do I think of Wendy Davis or the values she upholds.

Wendy Davis, a Harvard trained liberal, whose only claim to fame is defending the abortion industry.  Is that Texas?

Please help us petition the Dallas Morning News to remove the name if Wendy Davis as a 2013 finalist of Texan of the Year.

Editorial Board, The Dallas Morning News:

I ask you to remove the name of Wendy Davis as an official finalist for the 2013 Texan of the Year award.

Your attempt to showcase her as a finalist appears as a means to highlight: 1)  her campaign in the upcoming race for Governor, 2) your show of support for her work advocating on behalf of the abortion industry.

Her work as State Senator only represents a small constituency inside a small district in Texas, not the entire state. The majority of Texans are proud supporters of the right to life.

To compare Wendy Davis to the upstanding and brave First Reponders in West, Texas is wrong.

Please remove her name at once.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]
