Boycott called on Teeling Whiskey -- Support for abortion disgusts Irish and American whiskey lovers

From several news reports and from incontrovertable evidence found on Twitter (please see below...screen shots have been taken), Teeling Whiskey is supporting the killing of the unborn, under the euphemism of the so-called "Repeal" campaign [i.e., the repeal of the 8th Amendment of the Irish Constitution - the pro-life amendment, which equally protects the right-to-life of the mother and the unborn child].

What whiskey sales and the promotion of the killing of defenceless, unborn children have to do with each other is difficult to fathom.

But, by promoting abortion with a "repealthe8th" photoshoot at the Teeling Distillery in Dublin, and by supplying drink to Ireland's first pro-abortion art exhibit, it is pretty clear that Teeling Whiskey is trying to market their whiskey as "a drink to die for".

For this reason, a boycott has been called on Teeling Whiskey -- and, this boycott/educational campaign will spread from travel sites and to pro-life news sites now, and later to Irish-American news sites, as well as to Irish/Catholic fraternities and clubs in the US.

The goal of the boycott/educational campaign will be to inform and advise Irish people, as well as would-be visitors to Ireland, particulary from the US, to refrain from purchasing a product which is tainted with the blood of innocent, unborn children...and, to avoid setting foot inside the Teeling Whiskey distillery in Dublin - should they choose to visit the capital city on any journey to Ireland.

The boycott/educational campaign against Teeling is designed to inform as many people as possible as to their stance on abortion. And, Teeling will never know how many sales they have lost.

One way to avert this boycott and educational campaign is for Teeling Whiskey to admit they were wrong in bringing this life-and-death issue into their retail scheme, and issue a public apology on their website -- and then, to refrain from re-entering the campaign to repeal the 8th Amendment.

Should Teeling have the maturity to do so, then an escalation in this nascent campaign can be avoided.

Teeling should have the wisdom to realise that most people buying whiskey are not interested in supporting something as violent and bloody as abortion, and that "Repeal" is not simply about personal freedom or "choice", but about the taking of innocent human life.

Thank you signing this petition, and joining this boycott of Teeling Whiskey.

Should Teeling issue an apology, we will be the first to advise you of the same.

Teeling Whiskey & Abortion: "A drink to die for"?

For the Kind Attention of Messrs Stephen and Jack Teeling -

  • Mr John-Henry Weston, Editor-in-Chief of LifeSiteNews (popular, North American pro-life website)

From several reports and from incontrovertable evidence found on Twitter, I understand that Teeling Whiskey is actively pushing for the killing of the unborn, under the euphemism of the so-called "Repeal" campaign.

I am appalled that Teeling Whiskey have decided to campaign for this most inhumane of causes - especially where the lives of innocent people (the unborn) are viewed as disposable, and they experience violent deaths.

Perhaps, you have not considered this issue with the humanity it deserves? What whiskey sales and the promotion of the killing of defenceless, unborn children have to do with each other is difficult for me to fathom.

But, by promoting abortion with a "Repeal" photoshoot at the Teeling Distillery in Dublin, and by supplying drink to Ireland's first pro-abortion art exhibit, it is pretty clear that you, at Teeling Whiskey, are trying to market your whiskey as "a drink to die for", or rather, "a drink to kill for".

For this reason, I am participating in the boycott/educational campaign which has been called on Teeling Whiskey.

To that end, I will not be purchasing Teeling Whiskey, nor visiting your distillery until such time as you issue a public apology on your website, and, at the same time, also state that you will refrain from re-entering the campaign to repeal the 8th Amendment.

Further, I will be telling my like-minded Irish and American friends, family, neighbours and colleagues to avoid your products and distillery.

Please re-think your stand on this issue.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]
