Enough! CA elementary school uses LGBT indoctrination techniques
The 'gender unicorn' - a cartoon character designed by the Trans Student Educational Resources, a group of gender-confused youth activists - has made an appearance at the Rancho Romero Elementary School, which is part of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, located not far from San Francisco.
While the mere idea of school authorities usurping the exclusive right of parents to explain sexual mores and practices to their impressionable children is repugnant, what is even more reprehensible is the deliberate use of purposefully-designed LGBT propaganda - specifically, in the use of a cartoon character which captures the imagination of children, and subtly introduces, as normal, the idea of gender dysphoria (classified as a mental illness) - to indoctrinate young, school-children in their psychologically-dangerous beliefs.
Many distinguished psychiatrists are now speaking out, against the wrong-headed notion that sex is fluid and a matter of choice. In particular, they are concerned about the welfare of children and young people in this regard.
In fact, Dr Paul McHugh, former psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins, who has studied the phenomenon of gender dysphoria for 40 years, has stated that the idea of gender fluidity "is doing much damage to families, adolescents, and children and should be confronted as an opinion without biological foundation wherever it emerges".
And, the American College of Pediatricians (ACP) is clear about transgenderism contradicting both biology and science:
"Human sexuality is an objective biological binary trait: 'XY' and 'XX' are genetic markers of health – not genetic markers of a disorder. The norm for human design is to be conceived either male or female. Human sexuality is binary by design with the obvious purpose being the reproduction and flourishing of our species. This principle is self-evident... Individuals with DSDs [disorders of sex development] do not constitute a third sex".
Moreover, the ACP goes on to state that the public promotion of transgenderism promotes a type of "child abuse":
"Conditioning children into believing that a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse. Endorsing gender discordance as normal via public education and legal policies will confuse children and parents, leading more children to present [themselves] to 'gender clinics' where they will be given puberty-blocking drugs. This, in turn, virtually ensures that they will 'choose' a lifetime of carcinogenic and otherwise toxic cross-sex hormones, and likely consider unnecessary surgical mutilation of their healthy body parts as young adults."
Therefore, for the Rancho Romero Elementary School to use the 'gender unicorn' as a means to introduce such confusing and dangerous ideas to children, is a dereliction of the duty of care owed to the child.
Additionally, these wrong-headed notions - planted as seeds, now - may be a factor in psychological problems the pupils of Rancho Romero Elementary may experience in the future.
With these things in mind, this petition - which is directed to the Principal of Rancho Romero Elementary School, the Superintendent of the San Ramon Valley United School District, and the Governor of California - calls on the administation of Rancho Romero Elementary School to take down the display.
At the same time, we also call on the Governor to use his influence in the state's Department of Education, to implement common sense policies around the topics of sexual ethics and practices - leaving those issues for parents to discuss with their children.
Thank you for signing this petition, which makes, as top priorities, the rights of parents as primary educators of their children and the psychological welfare of the districts school-children.
