Stop Release of pro-LGBT “Little Women”
Stop Release of pro-LGBT “Little Women”

Many children grow up reading the children’s classic “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott, or watching one of the many movies that were adapted from the book. Unfortunately, a “politically correct” and pro-LGBT version of the book is now being released.
The adaption, “Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy,” is a modern retelling of the “Little Women” story that was first published 150 years ago. The retelling changes the racial makeup of the characters, which is fine. Where the book really goes off the rails is by making Jo, the second oldest of the sisters, a lesbian.
The author of the book, Rey Terciero, explained, “Jo is my favorite, so I wanted to play with the subtext that may not have been available 150 years ago, but that we can speak openly about these days. Being LGBT myself, I’m just happy to be creating a book that I wish I could have read as a young reader”.
More and more, publishers are inserting sexual identity messages and agendas in books that are used in schools, available in libraries, and even easily downloadable online. For families with Christian worldviews, this is troubling, especially when publishers are twisting classic literature to promote their own political and ideological agendas.
Terciero's modern retelling of “Little Women” is being serialized and released online, and it will be made available in its entirety by the largest educational book trade publisher Little, Brown Books for Young Readers.
Please sign this petition and let little Little, Brown Books know that you will NOT be supporting their business while they print this type of literature.
