A college in New York City tore down gender markings from all bathrooms!
Cooper Union, a New York City college, removed “men” and “women” signs from all campus bathrooms earlier this week. Now, students are forced to use restrooms with members of the other sex. Women will be unable to avoid sharing a bathroom with men.
Last fall, a group of students ripped off the gender signs from doors of restrooms in denial of God-given gender distinctions. Instead of replacing the signs and standing for biological truth, the administration decided to compound the problem—they removed the gender signs from all restrooms on campus.
“A public facility shouldn’t have to ask if you’re a man or a woman,” said Rio Sofia, one of the students who put pressure on the administration.
“When there’s a gendered space, there’s a sense of ownership to that space,” interim Cooper Union College President Bill Mea said. “When people see someone who they think doesn’t belong there, it can create stress for everyone. So we thought, let’s just take that away.”
Rather than worrying about this “stress,” President Mea should be concerned with the safety of the students at his college.
This radical, transgender agenda is dangerous for the college’s female students! Young women should be able to feel comfortable while using the bathroom—not always on their guard for potential predators. Tell Cooper Union to protect its female students from men in their restrooms!
The denial of God-given gender distinctions is bad for all students. Men and women are different, and should not be compelled to ignore their distinctions. It is critical that we fight back and voice our opposition. We must stand up for the safety of our daughters and the recognition of biological truth!
