Among the top priorities of the Luxembourg Presidency of the EU was to get adopted new draft regulations on the "Property Consequences of Matrimonial and Registered Partnerships".
Thankfully, the Hungarian and Polish Governments resisted this move and voted against these proposals, which aimed at achieving EU-wide recognition to same-sex "marriages" or registered partnerships.
